Established in 1977, Woof Design is a Newfoundland based cottage industry producing mohair, angora, and wool sweaters and accessories. Our mohair and wool are imported from the United Kingdom and our angora from France. In April 2000, we were very pleased that Stitches From Salmonier became a part of our growing company.

Woof Design employs 30 home based knitters in the province. All of our sweaters are handcrafted in Newfoundland homes using domestic knitting machines. Our accessory items are either hand knit, hand crochet, or woven.

We are a member of the Newfoundland and Labrador Craft Council as well as the Atlantic Craft Trade Show whereby all items are juried for quality.

The Woof Design and Stitches From Salmonier labels are available across Canada and the Eastern United States.
